Museum Move

The museum was originally located about a mile from where it currently is. In 1982, it was moved from its original spot along Russell Road to the Ad Center where it remains to this day. Below are photos taken from the day it was moved. The museum was lifted whole and loaded onto a flatbed truck where it was then taken to the Ad Center and set down in a prepared spot. The contract for the move was priced at $3300.
